Work is going slowly on the comic. I'm using the flexibility of the time off to experement and figure out what method would be best so that when I come back completely, I'll be better able to keep up. While I've learned a lot about the way I work, I haven't found the best method yet, I'm not consistent yet, and don't really have backlog. So I've decided, instead of keeping you on hold indefinately I'll be going to a once a month update until I've got this all sorted out. I like tuesday as the update day, so I'll be updating the first Tuesday of the month, starting in August. At the same time, I'll be still updating those half finished comics to make the archives completely finished and hopefully without errors. Thanks to all the people who emailed me to assure me they were still here and reading. It meant a lot.

Do I have any visitors left to read this? Well, just in case, here's what's up. I went through a massive burn out, both creatively and physically. I am working on this again, just very slowly. I'm trying to figure out a way to update often without burning out again. One of the things that I think will help is that I've brought in Unicorn Emily from AMR to help me write scripts. In any case, I won't be adding any new comics until it's all sorted and I have some backlog again, which won't be until July at least. Check back then for more news.

I did something wierd to my arm, and now I can't really move it at all 'cause it hurts. I'll update as soon as I can, luckily it was my right arm and I'm left handed. (Typing's interesting....)

I was going to update with all sorts of things but Comic Genesis isn't accepting my password. Again. I'm worried that it's going to make tomorrows update a day late as well, since I'm still inking as I type this, and I'm probably going to be done with it after the auto update runs. I'm putting this up now to let you know what's going on. If you see this, it means I didn't make it.

I spent some time updating the Printfection store this week. There are a few more items, but it's mostly cosmetic. Hopefully it will easier to find what you want now. There are two shirts that will only be there until the end of October, since they're halloween based. If you have an idea for the store, feel free to tell me about it. I check my email often and the forums still don't require registration. Also, I've found a new place for some of the more quirky merchandise like watches, keychains and playing cards. It's not up yet, but soon. I'll probably be taking down the Cafepress store when this new one goes up.

I'm back! The break was really wonderful. Turns out I was mostly just burned out with this story, and it was affecting all my other attempts at art or writing because I felt guilty I wasn't working on this. But the break worked and I've got my creativity back now. I may have to take the summer off every year, we'll have to see how it goes. All that I need to do now is to get back in the habit of working on this. I already pulled a late night post for this one.

Yeah, I was supposed to be back yesterday. One more week, I'll be back next Tuesday, promise! We nearly got stuck in the mountains when we went camping because it rained and rained and then snowed. There was mud everywhere, I'm lucky my sketchbooks are fine, we left the tent where it was and had to be towed, and I'm worn out. Sorry guys!

I AM ON HIATUS. I'm sorry, I just really need a break. Thank you to all the people who've been supportive about this. I am planning on being back on the first Tuesday in September, and if not, I'll have a nice extra and a news post to let you know what's up. Be sure to check back once and a while because I'll try to post extras now and then. I might even be able to get something done for tomorrow's anniversary.

Router blew, took a while to diagnose and fix. Due to a number of issues I'm seriously considering going on haitus over the summer, and coming back on the anniversary of the comic. If you'd like to help me decide, head over to the forums, I'll be talking about the pros and cons there. While trying to work through the block I had on this comic I did a few sketches and colored one, they're up in the extras section. Also, *points up* new title graphic. A good friend of mine really hated the old one, so I made this just for her.

Sorry it's late. I was already running behind when at 12 last night I found out that my ftp program would not work. I've still got to fix it, but at least it's still working on this computer.

I'm back! I'm still recovering but I should be able to update the comic again. I've updated the links list with a new comic, the profiles with our Vampire's info, updated the comic info 'cause I was bored with what it said, moved the April Fools Day comic where it belongs, put the sick day comic in there too, added a chibi of Crystal to the extras page and updated the donation wallpaper. Whew! Things pile up when you don't feel well.

I'm sorry that my updates haven't been the finished product that they should be lately. I've been working super hard to try and find a decent place in a college town that'll rent to a bunch of people who aren't related and aren't students, and everything else hit at once and long story short; it's run me completely ragged. I may have found one, but it if I have, I still get to move in under two weeks. Because of that the unfinished work may continue, but I'll keep working as hard as I can to make sure something is up every Tuesday.

The writers conference was wonderful, and as a bonus there was some great stuff about webcomics too. I have some great plans for this place when it's more established. I've moved the Valentines day comic into the extras section and I've changed the way the pictures appear when you click on them. Now you'll get the comments as well. I've done some backend cleanup too, but that's mostly for me.

Be sure to come back on the 14th for an extra holliday comic! I'm going to be without internet connection from the 13th to the 17th or 18th, so hopefully everything will work while I'm gone. (I'm going to a writers conference!) But if it doesn't, I won't be able to fix it for a while. On the other hand, due to how I handle lectures I will be able to get a lot of drawing done. I'll try to have at least one new extra drawn for you when I get back.

For some reason I can't figure out, the extras page didn't update when I updated it on the 27th. I've fixed that and taken the Christmas comic out of the archives. I've also finally added Sylphy to the profiles page.

Did you have a Merry Christmas? I did! The christmas comic can now be found in the extras section, along with one of my Christmas presents, a new fanart from my good friend Emily, author of A Magical Roommate. There won't be anything extra for New Years, sadly. For you forum people, there's a new thread up that's previewing an extra that I'm working on. If you don't visit the forums, this would be a good time to start. You don't even have to sign up to say something! Oh yes, and since I was asked, I've now got an RSS feed on the links page, and at the bottom of the main page. I'm not sure I understand RSS yet, but I'm trying.

It was my birthday on Saturday. I've finally found the time to go back and fix the many spelling errors that have been croping up lately. Thank you to the people who've pointed them out to me. I haven't yet decided what to do for Christmas. Since it falls on a Tuesday this year, I can't just do the same thing I did for Halloween. Maybe I'll update a day late, and put the christmas comic up on Tuesday. I hate to say this, but you'll have to check back to find out.

I've fixed the problem with the archives not using my css code, now it won't do the random white pages. I've also put Ten in the profiles section. His sprite probably needs work though.

I am so sorry about the dumb comment that didn't make sense. There was a mix up in files, things got saved under the wrong name, and that comment was never supposed to see the light of day. It should be fixed now. I've also added a new comic to the links page.

Halloween, halloween! This is my favorite holliday. There's dressing up, candy, and my friends are coming tonight for a party. After today, this comic will go into the extras section, not the archives. Speaking of extras, I have new artwork up there. First is a sketch of Tetra, the second and more importantly my first fanart from Peter, the artist of Bardsworth! I've also updated the profiles with the Elementals, the links section with those link list buttons, and the Printfection store with a shirt Crystal would love.

I am so very, very sorry for being late today. I had the comic done, but it hasn't been edited, so I hadn't uploaded it. This past... month has been very busy. I don't know why, but Comic Genesis has been having problems lately with people not seeing the current comic unless they do a hard refresh. (Hold controll down while you hit the refresh button.) I don't know how to fix it, so in the mean time, if there's supposed to be a new comic and you don't see one, try a hard refresh. I've still got backlog, so I shouldn't be missing any updates. As for good news, if you'd like to see more of my work, head on over to Nowhere University and check out my fan comic. There's going to be five of them.

Just so people know, I will be gone from the 13th to the 17th, and I am likely to be extremely busy in the time on either side of those dates. The site will update on time, no problem, but I won't be able to do things like reply to comments or emails and such. On another note, Comic Genesis doesn't seem to support css in the archives. I'll be fixing that soon.

I've updated the webcomic links and added a wallpaper in the extras section. I wasn't sure what size people would want, so I just put up the size I'm currently using. I can make it available both bigger and smaller, so if you want a different size, let me know. Enjoy!
